A COUPLE with a heart for stories; telling them and sharing them.

What bonds two people more than a shared love of photography and videography?
Turns out very little!
When Mitch and Em first started to get to know each other, Mitch found out Em loved photography and so tried to win Em over by lending her one of his cameras (now her camera that she loves dearly!). Turns out, it worked. Fast forward a couple years, they’re married and love creating together.

The Editing Brain
I’m a pretty simple guy! I love my faith, I absolutely adore my wife and I’m excited about telling meaningful stories.
Over the years I’ve had my fair share of hobbies and phases. As a kid I was convinced that I’d play professional basketball forever, early teens I got super into parkour and coaching, it was my first job! (Crazy, I know). I’ve always been a plane nerd and late teens I was determined to become a pilot. A lot of my passions have come and gone but one thing that has remained consistent, since now over a decade, has been an a heart and drive for capturing beautiful moments.
I was 14 years old on a school media camp when I fell in love with photography and gravitated quickly towards landscapes. My love of the outdoors often took me alpine directions during Winter and to waterfalls or coastline during Summer. It’s even taken me across the world, getting to witness some pretty extraordinary sights. My camera never left my side, I treasured being able to keep special moments with me.
Leaving school I made friends with some wedding photographers in Queensland. I was curious about how special a wedding would be to photograph. They picked up on my intrigue and invited me along to a couple! I absolutely loved every part of it, I went home and immediately started offering couple shoots to all my friends and family in hope that I could be lucky enough to capture a wedding of my own one day. I would never have imaged that 5 years later I’d have the greatest privilege of attending hundreds.
When things slowed down during Covid I dove headfirst into courses and learning, thirsty for growth in what I could offer my couples. Got hooked on video very quickly and added film to my arsenal shortly after. My horizons then broadened to Corporate work during 2021, excited by more stories to tell! This was a whole new world, every spare second was back in the books, constantly learning how to best help a new range of clients with different visions and different objectives.
I got married myself in June 24 and now am incredibly blessed to work alongside my very talented and creative wife. We live in the beautiful Yarra Valley and love hanging out with each other and our families. We love that we get to build friendships with each of our couples and help them hold onto their special moments too.
Thanks for taking the time!

The Traffic Controller and Scheduling Master
Hey! I’m Em, one of the creative hearts behind Eastwood Collective. I love blending graphic design, storytelling, and a dash of adventure into everything I do.
My background is in design (a Bachelor of Design with First Class Honours if we’re getting technical, plus a Cert IV in Design), and I’ve spent years working with big-name brands and creative studios across Melbourne. Along the way, I’ve picked up some exciting nods, like a Merit Award from the Australian Graphic Designer’s Association, and an invite to join the International Society of Typographic Designers.
As much as I embrace the latest tech (we work with it every day!), I’m happiest when I’m creating by hand. Whether it’s painting, drawing, or building custom signs, there’s something magical about crafting something out of nothing. To me, there’s nothing both more daunting and more exciting than a blank canvas.
Before jumping into graphic design full-time, I actually dreamed of creating props for movie sets—the kind that need to look right out of the 1950s or even the 1820s. Need an old telegram or a love letter that feels like it belongs in a period film? I’m your girl! Maybe it’s my fine arts background, but I’m all about the details. I love finding sentimental elements that make each project unique and memorable, capturing those small pieces of meaning wherever I can.
At Eastwood Collective, I’m also the one who brings a bit of “traffic control” to our shoots—scheduling with precision to keep things running seamlessly. Thanks to my time in corporate settings and marketing teams, I know how to align each creative choice with bigger business and marketing goals, and I’m always ready to offer ideas that create the most impact. Together, we can craft something unforgettable that meets every need!
When I’m not designing or diving into a shoot, I’m probably off the grid, hiking up a mountain or camping under the stars. Being out in nature fuels my creativity and keeps me grounded, whether I’m sketching new ideas or just soaking in the view.
So, whether I’m behind a camera, at my computer, or exploring the great outdoors, I’m here to tell stories that feel as genuine and full of heart as the people and moments we capture.
